Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of Lam Research Dry Etch manufacturing equipment. Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Study equipment performance and reliability. Troubleshoot equipment issues on the Dry Etch modules related to particle defects and other inline. Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Define and write preventative maintenance schedules. Equipment troubleshooting using OEM supplied software, including Lam DataAnalyzer, E3 Analytics, Klarity.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or an Engineering-related occupation. Position also requires 3 years of experience in:
1. Installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of LAM Dry Etch manufacturing equipment.
2. LAM Data Analyzer, E3 Analytics, Klarity.
3. Manufacturing execution system (MES) for semiconductor manufacturing.
4. Troubleshooting Dry etch equipment for particle defect issues.
5. Study of equipment performance and reliability.
