Responsibilities
As an Instrumentation and Controls Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the maintenance & operation of instrumentation and control systems on campus. This covers the main control system architecture, network, PLCs and remote I/O panels down to the equipment level, and coordination of work activities performed by contractors. SCADA is excluded. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of specific instrumentation including any required documentation. Other responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
As an Instrumentation and Controls Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the maintenance & operation of instrumentation and control systems on campus. This covers the main control system architecture, network, PLCs and remote I/O panels down to the equipment level, and coordination of work activities performed by contractors. SCADA is excluded. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of specific instrumentation including any required documentation. Other responsibilities include:
- Follow all safety procedures, LOTO and NFPA 70E standards
- Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment
- Provide effective & proficient response to restore equipment to service as soon as possible, in the event of a system failure
- Identify and respond according to alarm conditions
- Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues
- Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and enhance system stability
- Maintain records on maintenance, testing and calibrations of equipment
- 3 years of experience in the installation & repair of instrumentation & controls equipment.
- Can read & interpret P&ID Drawings.
- Able to work 12 hours shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), and rotate from days to nights every 4 months.
- 1 years of experience within the Semiconductor Industry
