Our NY1 Expansion Facilities Construction team is looking for an experienced Wastewater Engineers to be a part of the design, construction, commissioning, and sustaining operations for our new innovative manufacturing fab in Clay, New York
The Facilities Wastewater Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for working in a team environment with parallel engineering subject areas, to analyze operational efficiency activities, identify cost effective sustaining and manufacturing improvements and provide design input on projects. This position requires a good understanding of innovative semiconductor process wastewater treatment, waste water reclaim, and zero liquid discharge wastewater plants.
This position works directly with the operations team and technicians monitoring systems parameters via intelligent systems such as SPC / IOT and SCADA, ensuring they are running within specifications. The Facilities Wastewater Engineer must have the pertinent interpersonal skills that enable the coordination with other system owners, maintenance crews and construction trades to drive projects and daily tasks. Will be responsible for working with the vendors to develop operations and maintenance documentation, collaborate with vendors providing services, engineering for projects and changes and ensuring systems are operating within specifications. Provides design engineering support for existing system modification, upgrades and new equipment installations.
Engineering support and oversite of Design, Construction, Commissioning of Ultrapure Water systems including :
- Review of vendor provided design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy
- Review of equipment configuration and distribution routing of systems relative to functionality, egress, ease of maintenance requirements, constructability, alignment with P&ID's, etc.
- Validation of engineering calculations
- Review and approval of equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff
- Review and validation of construction RFI responses
- Review and approval of shop drawings and construction models
- Field engineering QA during construction
- Entry of system information into a capacity planning software

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is :
99,000.00 - $169,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
