What are the responsibilities and job description for the Probe Manufacturing Technician position at Micron Technology?

As a Probe Manufacturing Technician, you will support Technology Development (TD) by processing wafers for test in a timely manner to ensure the quickest possible feedback to Fab. You will need to accurately and expeditiously process material, working closely with many groups to ensure proper execution of experiments. You will be the first responder to area inefficiencies, i.e. lots not tracking/staging, data not down loading, tool lockups, and lot processed verification.
Qualifications
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to accurately read and interpret instructions to improve area efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities in a multi-tasking environment and work with minimal supervision
- An ability to drive improvement through identifying gaps, troubleshooting basic problems, and resolving root causes.
- Basic understanding of MS Office, including: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel
- An interest in working in an ever-changing environment where a desire to continuously learn and improve is a requirement
- The willingness and ability to work any shift, which includes weekends, nights, and holidays
- The willingness to work overtime as needed or required.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or an electro-static discharge (ESD) sensitive environment
Education
We strongly prefer a two year Associates degree or higher, a degree including Algebra and English. Exceptions can be made based on appropriate experience.
