As a Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) ID1 RDA Quality Manager at Micron, you will lead a HVM team in the use of next-generation defect detection equipment and processes to identify, trend and solve issues. The goal of this position is to Develop and implement quality control systems and standards for the RDA department. You will develop monitors and analyze quality performance metrics, direct and coordinate the RDA quality control program and establish new BKMs and guidelines for the RDA group. As a quality manger you will also conduct audits, create audit reports, and recommend improvements. The quality group is also in charge of excursion mitigation, FEMA, Sampling strategies for both RDA and Metrology.

Responsibilities
- Develop clear metrics for program health and communicate in an effective manor to set program priorities.
- Build and improve upon detection techniques and identify new ways to use existing tools in order to identify relevant process issues
- Develop inspection technology roadmaps to drive our internal and external partners enabling a clear path to future advanced memory needs
- Manage projects internal to your team and across functional areas
- Mentor your team in analyzing process flows looking for defect anomalies and quarantining process tools that are out of control.
- Create an environment of continuous improvement process (CIP) demeanor, looking for ways to improve operations, and how to make a difference today!
- Encourage a safe work environment.
- Direct your team to recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies.
- Active participation in technical meetings and then synthesize from it new opportunities or novel approaches
- Collaborate with the global network to develop best known methods and maintain alignment between sites
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 year experience working within the RDA, HVM or TD teams or relevant working experience in a 300mm semiconductor environment
- Experienced leader with 5 direct reports
- Minimum 5 year of experience in semiconductor fabrication process area, including tool sets, process mechanism, etc.
- Solid knowledge of semiconductor optical and electron beam inspection methods and technologies.
- Experience with investigation of process anomalies, root cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations
- Experience in leadership, proactive and passionate about learning and mentoring your team
- Validated experience as a creative problem solving and innovative solutions
- Ability to innovate and drive effective change in an energizing environment
- Shown combination of flexibility and tenacity in the pursuit of goals
