The Role
As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with Micron’s global design and verification teams. You will support groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to design products that optimize manufacturing functions and ensure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. We are engaged in developing groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions, from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development, systems design, and validation, resulting in world-class memory solutions.

The Role
As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with Micron’s global design and verification teams. You will support groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to design products that optimize manufacturing functions and ensure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. We are engaged in developing groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions, from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development, systems design, and validation, resulting in world-class memory solutions.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, verification, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
- Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions
- Lead the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing
- Working with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product
- Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve the design quality
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in analog design and development for volatile or nonvolatile memory technology
- Proven ability in modeling and simulation of integrated circuit using SPICE and Verilog
- 5 years working knowledge of Synopsys and Cadence Virtuoso
- BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Semiconductor Manufacturing experience.
- MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant Semiconductor Manufacturing experience.
- 5 years of demonstrated ability in product engineering and/or design
- 3 years of proven experience in parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
