Responsibilities
- Own the procurement process, negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs, support site audits, and support capital budgeting and cash flow management while executing Global Procurement strategies.
- Implement cost savings plans, process improvement programs and processes to monitor performance with key suppliers. Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting.
- Apply should-cost models, identify and evaluate savings/revenue levers, drive category targets, provide market intelligence and price trends, and lead or participate in contract negotiations.
- Lead sourcing events and RFQ process into bundled negotiations, incorporate savings targets and contract requirements, and develop sourcing strategies for construction and design, including RFQ/RFP, bidder negotiations, and bid awards.
- Resolve claims, coordinate buyout and change order management, monitor construction partners performance related to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, or similar relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Requires 6 years work experience in Construction Procurement.
- Proficient in written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Experienced in strategic sourcing in construction, category management and construction procurement, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
- Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Preconstruction Services, Budgeting and/or Cost Control
