What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Industrial Engineer-TD Planning position at Micron Technology?

Collaborate with key stakeholders on future production and development wafers, tool/material/consumable requirements, and space planning. Partner closely with the Process Development (PD), Equipment Development Engineering (EDE), Procurement, and Facilities stakeholders to keep updated on strategic area plans, priorities, and projects. Project Management/Planning. Design and coordinate projects with several different departments. Create timelines with milestones for complex tasks and projects. Minimize duplication through effective planning. Adjust plans based on execution to milestones and factors in capabilities when setting plans. Maintain accurate planning models (forecasts, tool requirements, capital, expense). Apply IE concepts and statistical analysis to maintain quality and audit manufacturing information, analyze metric quality, and improve modeling techniques. Apply IE concepts to requirements analysis, constraint management, and space planning. Evaluate what-if scenarios representing changes to metrics and partners with engineering to understand the impact of the changes. Use experience and observations to design experiments to get to the root cause on issues. Analyze and interpret internal and external data sources to suggest capacity changes. Incorporate experience and observations to design experiments to determine necessary area changes. Drive action through effective data and clear communication. Report all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.). Perform audits and submits good catches on safety issues. Partner closely with the Process Development (PD), Equipment Development Engineering (EDE), and ID1 stakeholders (MDE, IE) to keep updated on development needs, tool requirements, and ID1 shared tooling requirements. Partner closely with PD and PI teams to understand why TD travelers are changing and associated impacts. Coordinate TD traveler and input changes with the ID1 team to ensure synced plans. Coordinate development teams on capital justifications and planning driven assumption changes. May telecommute part-time.
