Come join the Core Data Center Business Unit (CDBU) as an Ecosystem Partner Manager where you will help define and implement Micron's storage and memory vision for data center market segments. Partner with external ecosystem partners and align internally with engineering, product management, marketing, and sales teams to define world-leading storage and memory solutions!
The Ecosystem Partner Manager, you will leading and develop strategic partnerships within the data center storage and memory ecosystem, focusing on silicon ecosystem partners. You will work with our ecosystem partners to identify partner chances to create our storage and memory products better, define a compelling ecosystem, leverage partners’ go to market programs, and increase Micron’s brand equity.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate positive relationships with key partners and Micron product management to build better solutions. Establish and maintain positive relationships with key partner collaborators including regular partner interlocks/strategy meetings.
- Understand the Micron SSD and DIMM/memory roadmap accurately and ensure alignment with product management to optimize roadmap execution.
- Lead initiatives to build a proven partner ecosystem with clearly understood and achievable fiscal benefit to Micron.
- Maintain an authority level understanding of the partners assigned and their market segments while being diligent to new and emerging markets and technologies.
- Exhibit thought leadership by identifying how to demonstrate the ecosystem.
- Understand and maintain internal high-level roadmaps and technology futures of key partners.
- Drive Micron product qualification on reference design platforms at assigned chipset accounts to enable customer design wins.
- Work with outbound marketing to ensure alignment on product messaging, opportunities to leverage, and partner co-marketing.
- Regularly and actively communicate across the organization to ensure understanding and alignment for all identified focus partner initiatives.
- Timely negotiation and execution of NDAs/contracts with partners.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Program management skills: Drive processes across a matrixed organization.
- Command skills: Must be capable of driving collaborators up to and including executives.
- Communication skills: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to clearly articulate processes to relevant collaborators, especially executives.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of SSD/NAND technologies and storage/compute architectures for servers and rack-level systems. Knowledge of memory technologies is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, is required.
- Professional experience: 8 years in technical marketing, system engineering, application engineering, field application engineering, business development, or ecosystem partner management.
- Collaborative skills: Work with cross-functional teams and interact directly with senior executives across departments, as well as providing leadership to teams on the implementation of critical initiatives.
- Ecosystem knowledge: Must be familiar with the ecosystem of computer and PCIe infrastructure silicon providers in the USA.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$157,000.00 - $309,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
