Micron's Facilities Team is looking for an experienced maintenance electricians to work in our new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho. We have the opportunity to bring in a high-energy, tenacious, and ambitious individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain Waste and High Purity Water systems, including all electrical components from the branch panel to the equipment level.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and coordinate work activities performed by contractors.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code NFPA70 and NFPA 70E.
- Understand electrical one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on electrical switchboards with redundant feeds.
- Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.
- Respond effectively and competently to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure.
- Identify and respond to alarm conditions.
- Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
- Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability.
- Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience.
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
- Work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), rotating from days to nights every 4 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Electrical Journeyman license.
- 3 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience.
