Micron's Facilities Team is looking for an experienced maintenance electricians to work in our new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho. We have the opportunity to bring in a high-energy, tenacious, and ambitious individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain Waste and High Purity Water systems, including all electrical components from the branch panel to the equipment level.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and coordinate work activities performed by contractors.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code NFPA70 and NFPA 70E.
  • Understand electrical one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on electrical switchboards with redundant feeds.
  • Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.
  • Respond effectively and competently to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure.
  • Identify and respond to alarm conditions.
  • Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
  • Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability.
  • Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience.
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), rotating from days to nights every 4 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman license.
  • 3 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience.
