Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound equipment to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound scans to create images for diagnostic purposes
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Analyze images to ensure high-quality diagnostic information
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections during procedures
Skills
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques, including sonography and diagnostic radiology
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds (Ob/Gyn)
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff efficiently

SUMMARY:
The Registered Ultrasound Tech is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist Radiologist with exams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program
Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience as a Sonographer
Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, and current CPR
Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
