Job Summary

The Purchasing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement process by assisting with sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics. The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that the organization maintains optimal inventory levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Duties

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Process purchase orders and manage order confirmations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control measures.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and pricing trends.
• Support the e-commerce team by managing product availability and sourcing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
