This is a weekend day shift position: 7:00am-7:30pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (36 hours of work)
Shift Premium: 11.1% (equates to 40 hours of work)
Training: Training may take place on dayshift during the week (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm)
Overall Summary
As Maintenance Service Specialist, you will perform maintenance and repairs on both CNC and Manual equipment.
Your duties will include:
- Perform troubleshooting and evaluates mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical unit and controls to determine source of malfunction.
- Uses blueprints, machine specifications, and schematic drawings to determine repair procedures.
- Removes and replaces defective units, controls, or components. Tests and repairs components such as PC boards, power supplies, and controls stations with oscilloscopes, VOM’s, logic probe
- Adjusts sensitive electrical, thermal, and timing devices to machine specifications.
- Starts repaired and/or new equipment to verify readiness for operation.
- Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures.
- Must have valid current driver’s license to drive to local vendors for repair parts and supplies.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Assist outside contractors, i.e.: fire systems, insurance inspectors, etc.
- Trains Level I & II (Sr.) technicians

About You
We might be a great match if you have:
- Ability to replace ball screws, servo motors, solenoid valve, control boards.
- Willingness to obtain aerial and forklift license within the first year after starting.
- Proficiency in soldering, welding, and fabricating.
- VOM, clamp on Ammeter, Hammers, pliers, and wrenches.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
- Driver’s license is required
- Must obtain forklift license
YOUR EDUCATION
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related technical field strongly preferred
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Maintenance Service Specialist II: Minimum 3 years of related experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including repairing CNC equipment.
Sr. Maintenance Service Specialist: Minimum 5 years of related experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including repairing CNC equipment.
Visual acuity requirements apply to the role, including peripheral, color, and depth perception.
