About Us:
MicroRam is a leading distributor of electronic components, providing innovative supply chain solutions to OEMs, CEMs, and EMS companies. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop our Sales Executive and Lead Generation teams in the Tampa Bay Area. Candidates must be able to commute daily to our Oldsmar, Florida, office. This is not a remote working position.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the Sales Executive team to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new business opportunities and expand customer relationships.
- Set short and long-term goals, ensuring the team meets and exceeds targets.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, presenting tailored solutions to key decision-makers.
- Oversee lead generation efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Manage quoting procedures, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the sales team, driving motivation and performance.
- Build relationships with buyers and executives at OEM, CEM, and EMS companies.
- Hire, train, and develop new Sales Executives to build a strong and effective team.
- Occasional customer site visits and travel as needed.
What we’re looking for
- 3 years of experience in sales management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing sales teams and lead generation functions.
- Strong ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, close deals, and achieve revenue goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
