Head School Nurse

Position Details: MACS, a growing K-8 charter school seeking a full time Head School Nurse. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Prior experience with student or patient database information systems, and Microsoft Office systems/Google Docs. • Experience with pediatric, adolescent or urgent/emergency care preferred. • Ability to work effectively with children and staff members. • Ability to interact with and support K-8th grade students. • Ability and desire to teach health and nutrition lessons. • Participate in required DOE / state reporting. • Participate in school training sessions and staff meetings. •Participate in student wellness checks/phone calls. •Help families with community resources as needed. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. • Experience as a School Nurse preferred but not required. CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS • Registered Nurse (RN) with the State of New and certification from the NH state board of education. Basic Life Support CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) certified. SCHEDULE: Full-time school year; 8:45am-4:15pm M-F- school year calendar only (approx 178 days)

Salary : $4,500 - $57,000
