Job Duties
Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Manage project implementation, which may include resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training of technical development and product planning teams. Telecommute work permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Technology Management, or related degree.
- Experience: Three (3) years of experience in IT-related project or program management.
- Specific Skill Requirements: This position requires at least thirty-six (36) months of experience in: Stakeholder Management, Engagement, & adoption; twenty-four (24) months of experience in: Power BI, Executive Relationship Management, Project Management; and at least twelve (12) months of experience in: Rhythm of Business (ROB) management, Program Landscape research and analysis, and Automation & Business process optimization.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The salary range in Redmond, WA for this position (TSKBM17936) is $159,635.00/YEAR to $189,635.00/YEAR.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
