May collect and analyze data in order to assess the time, money, materials, and labor required to execute daily aspects of site construction. Monitor the project lifecycle of data center construction, facilities upgrades, communication site construction, or wireless telecommunications systems construction. Develop detailed scope of work documentation, which may include the review of production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and troubleshoot issues to avoid delays or escalations. Apply quality, safety, and regulatory assurance measures. Develop contingency plans to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of integrated solutions. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure external conditions, such as human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination do not disrupt the project plan. Implement visible, measurable, and repeatable processes that mitigate risk throughout the project life cycle. Provide support for related infrastructure projects and systems, which may include the designation, acquisition, distribution, and allocation of materials, supplies, and products. Requires domestic travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
-Experience: 5 years of experience in cost management for large-scale construction projects and programs.
-In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience in cost management for large-scale construction projects and programs.
-Specific Skills: This position requires 5 years of experience in each of the following: Quantity Surveying; Cost Management; Contracts Administration; Bid Levelling; Cost Reporting; Construction Procurement; and Construction Estimating.
-Requires domestic travel up to 25%.
-Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG16480234), in Tempe, AZ, is $163,600 to $193,600 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
