Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Conduct data modeling to help organize technical solution implementation plans. Facilitate deployment features or services, and validate success metrics. May review multiple test strategies for a product and create a plan for product launch. Measure and monitor stakeholder success to prevent escalations and increase satisfaction. May write functional specifications for engineering teams to ensure business objectives. Engage in partner enablement activities. Develop best practices and written content to drive product utility and awareness across channels. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Technology Management, Project Management, Telecommunications, or a related field.
-Experience: 12 months software development experience formulating and analyzing software requirements utilizing a high-level programming language.
-Specific Skills: This position requires 12 months of experience in each of the following: Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Web Services; SQL and/or T-SQL; Unit Testing; Automated Testing Tools; and Data Warehousing.
-Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG14642359), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $147,500 to $177,500 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
