Job Duties
Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity: Provide technical expertise and consumer insights to drive digital transformation. Understand customers' overall cloud portfolio, IT and business priorities. Successfully measure design implementation architectures and scalable SAP on Azure cloud solutions leveraging expertise in SAP and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions. Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a migration and modernization roadmap with customers using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments. Orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies including Application Development and DevOps technologies as appropriate. Ensure all solutions leverage the design and operations guidance according to the Well-Architected framework across all pillars, including performance efficiency, security, operational excellence, reliability, and cost optimization. Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects, MS Partners, and MS stakeholders in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Build relationships with SAP on Azure go-to partners to accelerate growth. Review partner demonstrations and provide feedback to ensure alignment with Microsoft standards. Conduct Architectural Design Sessions to build plan for implementing solution-governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience demonstrating in depth knowledge and experience in database structure and/or database architecture.
- Alternate Requirements: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, employer will accept two additional years of experience demonstrating in depth knowledge and experience in database structure and/or database architecture.
- Specific Skills Requirements: Must include at least 24 months of experience in: Understanding infrastructure components of a SAP Architecture; Core SAP Components; Oracle, MaxDB, SQL Server, and Hana; Migration Experience with SAP components; Integrating SAP with non-SAP applications; and Cloud Technologies.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code: TSKBR17978), in Austin, TX, is $164,320 to $194,320.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
