Conduct internal information technology systems audits and risk assessments. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls that address information technology and security risks. Plan and implement audit work programs for effective controls testing and monitor information systems production environments for potential system integrity exposure and control weaknesses. Identify various risks (e.g., financial, operational, compliance), and develop formal written reports to communicate audit results and recommend corrective action or risk mitigation. Evaluate complex information systems including software engineering and release processes, change control procedures, application and infrastructure security, threat and vulnerability management, and data center operations. May collaborate with cross functional teams regarding information system development and operation, server and network operations, software engineering processes, database management systems, and/or security operations. Requires domestic travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Physics, or a related field.
-Experience: 12 months experience identifying/analyzing risks and owning business audit processes.
-Specific Skills: Must include 12 months of experience in each of the following: IT Audit; Risk Assessment; Data Protection; Privacy; Enterprise Architecture; SDLC; and Reporting.
-Requires domestic travel up to 25%.
-Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG4945319), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $128,419 to $158,419 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
