Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:
Manages legal business matters and provides corporate and commercial legal services to in-house clients. Counsels business partners and executives on a broad range of issues, which may include legal, business, public relations, government affairs, corporate image, Customer Partner Experience, regulatory compliance, or cross-Microsoft related matters. Reviews legal data and advises the organization on appropriate legal action. Identifies legal risks and develops solutions and mitigation strategies. Performs litigation on the company’s behalf or coordinates litigation and other legal matters handled by outside counsel. Drafts policies and agreements and negotiates transactions documents, such as procurement agreements, joint development deals, inbound and outbound licensing agreements, and settlement agreements. Requires domestic and international travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more but less than 100%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree. In lieu of a Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree, employer will accept an additional 24 months of experience as a practicing attorney, or equivalent practice of law.• Experience: 84 months of experience as a practicing attorney, or equivalent practice of law.• Licensing: Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction.• Specific Skills: Education or experience in Lawyer; Legal support to Factory; Employment Law Support; Investigations (all); Compliance Support; Workplace Investigations; and Subsidiary legal support.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (V2428650.b), in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is $204,170 to $234,170 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
