Analyze risk management issues by identifying, measuring, and making decisions on operational possibilities or consequences. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, test, and improve new processes that reduce risk, increase efficiency, and improve overall operations. Participate in regular business reviews and inform stakeholders of strategies to identify and reduce business risks. Control risk environment with proactive walkthroughs and process reviews related to product offerings. Develop tools, frameworks, and processes to enable stakeholders to prioritize risks and drive decisions that protect or create value. Communicate effective risk mitigation practices related to data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. Analyze trends and develop proactive reporting for decision making. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Risk Management, Environmental Science, Business Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
-Experience: 36 months of experience in analyzing risk management issues by identifying, measuring, and making decisions on operational possibilities or consequences.
-Specific Skills: Must include 36 months of experience in each of the following: Program Management; Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTI); Corporate ESG Disclosures – Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP); ISO 14060 Standards; Web Apps; and S&P Dow Jones Index Environmental Sustainability.
-Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG12271135), in Redmond, WA, is $180,364 to $210,364 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
