Create, align, and execute sourcing and category strategies to continuously reevaluate and optimize Microsoft’s enterprise-wide logistical functions or supply chain. Evaluate metrics and processes, such as best value, supplier cost competitiveness, and product lifecycle including continuity of fulfillment and supply, and supply-base development and oversight. Collaborate with cross functional teams to aggregate the diverse demands of Microsoft’s businesses and identify, develop, manage, and optimize suppliers, systems, processes, and organizational capabilities and capacity. Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, or related workers involved in procuring materials, products, or services. Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support business verticals. Requires domestic and international travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in business, business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
-Experience: 24 months experience in logistical functions or supply chain related to program/project management, network design, data modeling, optimizing logistics, distribution and supply chain operations across multiple geographies.
-Specific Skills: This position requires 24 months of experience in each of the following: Logistics; Stakeholder Management; Supply Chain; Reporting; Process Improvement; Sustainability; Project Management; and Program Management.
-Requires domestic and international travel up to 25%.
-Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG12492322), in New York, NY, is $172,432 to $202,432 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
