As a CO I CE Energy Marshall, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. - Oversees and assures the overall compliance of Microsoft’s Energy Isolation Program and establish acceptance criteria for authorizing campus Energy Isolation Plan.
- Implements learnings, provides consistency, and drives rigor into Microsoft’s Energy Isolation program and ensures program meets or exceeds company safety policy requirements.
- Utilise local code and standards as the foundation for Microsoft’s Energy Isolation program that is implemented throughout the campus.
- Establish with the Engineering team a centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedure with all campus entities and determine if a group or individual LOTO procedure will be required.
- Commencement of energy isolation activities with updates on a continuous basis.
- Liaise with Microsoft construction team where Energy Isolation activities may potentially impact data center core operations.
- Act in coordination with the Engineering team as a subject matter expert in all energy isolation incident investigations in area of responsibility
- Participate in high-risk activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with energy isolation.
- Ensures high-risk SOWs, SOPs and MOPs are reviewed, and all sources of energy are identified.
- Ensure a process is established that verifies qualifications, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for personnel performing the work.
- Generate monthly reports highlighting activities and general status of energy isolation program
- Embody the Microsoft One culture and values .
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1 year(s) technical engineering experience
OR equivalent experience.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3 years technical engineering experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5 years technical engineering experience
- OR equivalent experience.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
