As a Principal Software Engineer, you will learn from senior developers and cooperate with other team members on various projects. Responsibilities
This is a technical role: it requires hands-on software design and development skills. We’re looking for someone who has a demonstrated history of solving hard technical problems and is motivated to tackle the hardest problems in building a containerization platform at scale using Kubernetes orchestrator.

Responsibilities
This is a technical role: it requires hands-on software design and development skills. We’re looking for someone who has a demonstrated history of solving hard technical problems and is motivated to tackle the hardest problems in building a containerization platform at scale using Kubernetes orchestrator.
- Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions following modern software engineering practices through design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario, drive identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Perform system design with well-defined interfaces across multiple components, leveraging data/telemetry to inform decisions.
- Develop best-in-class engineering for our services, ensuring components are modular, secure, reliable, testable, diagnosable, maintainable, actively monitored, and reusable.
- Improve test coverage, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience with Kubernetes on Azure or other cloud environments such as AWS and GKE
- 5 years experience in Infrastructure Management; understanding of managing large-scale infrastructure, including service discovery, ingress, networking and repair mechanisms
- 4 years experience in automating deployment processes and managing CI/CD pipelines
- 4 years experience with tools and practices that support continuous deployment and testing, as well as configuration management
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud like Azure, AWS, GKE, Infrastructure management at scale.
