Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing new features for several Windows applications and operating system components.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimizing application performance and ensuring high-quality user experiences.
- Identifying and fixing bugs and issues in existing codebases.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Focus on customer needs through a data driven approach
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C , C# , Java , S wift or Kotlin
- OR equivalent experience
- 2 years of demonstrated industry experience in software development
- Demonstrated Industry e xperience with Windows development tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrated Industry e xperience developing application s on Windows or on MacOS/iOS / Android.
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C , C# , Java , S wift or Kotlin
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C , C# , Java , S wift or Kotlin
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3 years of demonstrated industry experience working directly with C , C# or equivalent languages such as Java.
- Experience building and shipping Windows apps is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting model training or fine-tuning workflows in production is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicat e and collaborate with cross-functional teams
