Job Title: Product Development Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Product Development process, ensuring the successful launch of next-generation products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Documentation: Assist engineers in creating technical documentation for new products.
- Product Validation: Conduct qualification/design validation testing on new products.
- Test Fixture Maintenance: Assemble and maintain product test fixtures and test circuits.
- Circuit Board Assembly: Rework circuit board assemblies using a soldering iron and common hand tools, including soldering and de-soldering of very small parts (surface mount technology).
- Evaluation Board Development: Assist in developing evaluation boards, generating product data in support of datasheets and de-embedded s-parameter files to support customer modeling.
- Lab Equipment Management: Maintain lab equipment and supplies.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An Associate's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- The ability to assemble SMT-based PCBs and test fixtures.
- Experience with RF component products is preferred.
- Experience with RF small signal and large signal component testing, including insertion loss, VSWR, IP3, P1dB, noise figure, and switching speed is preferred.
- Experience with RF network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise figure meters, and power meters is preferred.
- Good knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite.
