What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process/Equipment Operator I position at Micross Logo?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work from diagrams, prints, specifications, work orders, shop orders, and other written documentation.
• Prepare machine for production process by equipping it with the proper tools, parts and loading programs.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure the machine works optimally during the production process.
• Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
• Perform safety checks on machine(s).
• Ensure machinery is set up and working properly, if not, notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
• Verify traveler matches parts in magazine container; Confirm quantity of devices to traveler.
• Fill out production work traveler.
• Conduct required inspection to verify process conformity.
• Maintain written and practical operation and inspection certifications.
• Meet expected production quotas as identified by supervisor.
• Create and maintain activity logs.
• Ensure the product manufactured from the machine is of high quality by managing checks on output; making adjustments to improve the quality when possible/as needed.
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
• Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisor.

Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma required.
• 1-5 years of experience of operating automated and manual equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to operate 1-3 manufacturing machines related to the production of product.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, while using tools to perform repetitive actions for an 8-10 hour shift.
• Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen.
