Job Description
The Program Manager requires the successful candidate to manage the IR Scene Projector (IRSP) program area by coordinating and monitoring lot scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of projects in the program area. Responsibilities include supporting contract / PO negotiations, contract / PO modifications, and coordinating the preparation of quotes, project schedules, project specifications, and financial conditions of the contracts / purchase orders. The position will direct the program team and work with the operations team to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules, develop solutions to program / project challenges, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will be the primary point of contact for customer communication (weekly customer calls, technical discussions (email or conference call), and monthly reports). The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with some knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing, as well as project management experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
- Daily tactical management of process development activities across multiple projects with a team of senior-level engineers.
- Program Management of IRSP program area, including project quoting, setting project schedules, managing projects to budget and schedule, and setting program team priorities.
- Prepare project status reports (emails, PowerPoint slide decks, and / or Word documents), lead weekly customer meetings and customer communications.
- Employ standard troubleshooting protocols.
