Job Title: Knife Wrapper
Location: Microtech Knives, Fletcher, NC

Job Summary:

Microtech Knives is seeking a detail-oriented Knife Wrapper to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in our production process by ensuring each knife is carefully and properly wrapped before the sharpening stage. The Knife Wrapper inspects knives for quality and securely wraps them to prevent any damage during further processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wrap each knife securely with precision, adhering to company standards to ensure quality and protection.
• Conduct thorough inspections of each knife before wrapping, identifying and reporting any visible defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized wrapping area, ensuring that all materials are stocked and readily available.
• Collaborate closely with the sharpening team to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Record and report any issues or challenges encountered during the wrapping process to your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to work efficiently and consistently, following a repetitive process with care.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members in production.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
