All About This Opportunity
The In-House Photographer / Social Media Manager is responsible for conceptualizing and generating evergreen visual assets including photos, videos, graphics, and social media-specific content. The occupant of this role will have the opportunity to develop creative marketing strategies with the potential of taking on digital marketing and advertising responsibilities.
What You’ll Be Doing!
- Assist with the creative direction in rebranding initiative and plan high-quality editorial campaigns.
- Create and edit original photography to be used across all organic channels including product pages, newsletters, and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with teams to develop creative strategies for marketing and influencer relations.
- Develop and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns to be sent out multiple times a week.
- Monitor daily social media performance and engagement and deliver weekly and quarterly social media analytics reports to Marketing Director.
What You’ll Need to Win!!
- 2 years of photography and videography experience
- Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other photo and video editing software
- Knowledge of and experience with all current social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok
- A strong creative eye with the ability to actualize ideas and present them to team members for approval
- High level of written and visual communication skills
- Understanding and awareness of social media and industry trends
- Self-starter who is equally comfortable working independently and in cross teams
- Creative problem solver who can oversee multiple projects at a time
- Proactive ability to adjust work based on feedback
- Passionate and knowledge involving Knife industry would be nice, but not required.
