Overview
MicroTech is currently seeking a Cloud Architect position to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position is contingent upon award, one that will offer you the opportunity to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team providing mission critical support.
Responsibilities
- Leads engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.
- Develops architecture products including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.
- Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
- Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
- Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.
- Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
- Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.
- Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands.
Qualifications
Special Knowledge/Certifications:
- Demonstrated ability migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architecture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s and ten (10) years of experience.
- Experience working with Cloud Service Providers (desired).
- Experience utilizing elastic cloud computing (desired).
- Secret clearance.
