Overview
MicroTech is currently seeking a Data Scientist position to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position is contingent upon award, one that will offer you the opportunity to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team providing mission critical support.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects.
- Evaluates proposed objects and their attributes.
- Ensures that proposed object definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts.
- Ensures that the values of object attributes and domains are accurate and correct. Ensures that the proposed objects are consistent with data and process models.
- Creates and maintains data dictionary.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands.
Qualifications
Special Knowledge/Certifications:
- Ability to analyze data and then report it back in a way that less tech-savvy coworkers can easily understand.
- Well versed in a variety of programming languages, such as Java, Python, R and SQL.
- Strong background in mathematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s and ten (10) years of experience.
- Experience working with cloud computing (desired).
- Secret clearance.
