What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at MicroTech?
Overview
The on-site Network Administrator shall have a minimum of 2 years of documented operational network administration experience demonstrating technical understanding of Cisco and Juniper networking technologies (including, CISCO Unified Call Manager, CISCO Internetwork Operating System 12 , Junos Operating System, and Junos Space).
Qualifications
Clearance requirement: Secret
- A minimum of two (2) years’ of documented operational network administration experience of technical understanding of Cisco and Juniper networking technologies (including: Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco Internetwork Operating System 12 , Junos Operating System, and Junos Space)
Required certifications:
- Possess & maintain a current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (formerly Routing and Switching) certification
- OSPF Routing Protocols
- Must possess qualifications/certifications compliant with the DoD 8140.01
- Familiar with Cyberspace Workforce Management Program
- Familiar with the Forescout suite
- Security or equivalent for IAT LEVEL II
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in the following technology is desired: • Network Associate Level Routing & Security • Wireless Technologies • IPv6 and dual stacked environments • Solar Winds Network Management and monitoring tools • Junos Space Network Management and monitoring tools • Enterprise level circuit diversity, disaster recovery, and redundancy • Comply to connect technology • Cryptographic devices • Voice over IP technology • Forescout
