We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need in a prompt and professional manner to enjoy their stay
- Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls with a professional and pleasant attitude
- Handle incoming phone reservations and managing reservations made online and telephonically.
- Provides security for guests by maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed
- Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
- Completes paperwork necessary for front desk operations (registration cards, folios, credit card vouchers, cash reports, room reports, etc.).
- Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping department
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Set up breakfast in morning
- May perform similar duties as requested by manager
- Will train the right candidate.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
- Higher starting wages for those with hotel and customer service experience. Performance based raises provided
- Punctuality and reliability are required.
- Must be reliable and responsible.
