Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
- Coordinate with housekeeping management to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing paperwork and guest accounts.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments accurately.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel.
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hotel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with custodial duties and industrial cleaning standards is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in the front desk area and surrounding spaces.
- Proficient in floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance throughout the hotel.
