Job Overview: We are looking for a hotel front desk agent to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay.
Hotel Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:
- Registering guests.
- Managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities.
- Maintain a complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
-Access all functions of computer system in accordance with departmental specifications.
-Respond to guest complaints and troubleshoot issues on shift.
-Answer department telephone using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
-Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion of request.
Specific Skill and Physical Abilities Required
- Ability to input and access data in computer.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
- Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the desk and by phone.
- Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.
-Ability to prioritize and follow up.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information.
- Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating several requests at any given time.
Experience:
Hospitality Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
Wyndham Hotels: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
