Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests and residents alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and well-maintained.
- Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens to uphold hygiene standards.
- Carry out custodial duties such as emptying trash bins and restocking supplies.
- Conduct carpet cleaning when necessary to maintain the appearance of carpets.
- Assist with floor care tasks including waxing and polishing as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform residential cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles requiring meal preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods, including lifting and moving furniture if necessary.
