Job Description
Lead the site's Engineering teams to ensure that Medical Devices can be reliably manufactured. This includes creating common processes for key responsibilities, such as : validation, problem solving, fixture design, and data analysis across the different Engineering groups. Responsible for leading and managing complex projects and teams. Guide and mentor the engineering team and other departments in resolving manufacturing and production issues, improving engineering and project systems, and identifying and resolving product or process issues. Job duties :
- Integrate the activities between departments to solve problems associated with sustaining product, which include improvements to existing processes and tooling / equipment and new technology.
- Take a proactive approach in conjunction with production to maintain the required output based on the sales forecast, including the production floor, tooling and equipment, and recommendations on personnel.
- Champion the use and implementation of Lean, Six Sigma and 5s methodologies.
- Lead and develop direct reports.
- Provide input to Management Review.
- Mentor Interns, Engineers, and Technicians.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
