Mid-Am Wants You to Join Our Team! We are looking for individuals to assist in assembling and fabricating interior and exterior doors. We work Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-1:30 am. We will train you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-
Cutting, screwing, stapling, nailing, gluing, caulking, and assembling of wood, metal and glass materials into door and sidelite glass door units.

Put away or stock inbound materials.

Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.

Load company and customer vehicles and outbound materials.
-
Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials.

Sweep and clean facilities- Observe all safety rules: (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc).

Assist in counting inventory.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.

Analytical Skills - the ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

Must have skills working with basic woodworking and metalworking tools.

Must be able to work in a team environment.
Experience:
Knowledge of carpentry or construction is a plus.
