Mid-Am Wants You to Join Our Team! We are looking for individuals to assist in assembling and fabricating interior and exterior doors. Candidates will work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will train you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Cutting, screwing, stapling, nailing, gluing, caulking, and assembling of wood, metal and glass materials into door and sidelite glass door units.

• Put away or stock inbound materials.

• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.

• Load company and customer vehicles and outbound materials.

• Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials.

• Sweep and clean facilities- Observe all safety rules: (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc).

• Assist in counting inventory.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.

• Analytical Skills - ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

• Must have skills working with basic wood working and metal working tools.

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds

Experience: Knowledge of carpentry or construction is a plus.
