Mid-Am Metal Forming is a metal fabrication company based in Rogersville, Missouri. We specialize in architectural metal forming, fabrication, painting, and assembly. Our custom-manufactured components are commonly used in commercial building products across the entire United States and have been used on buildings as far away as New Zealand!
We are seeking a skilled CNC Waterjet Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a CNC waterjet cutting machine to produce precise and high-quality parts according to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with waterjet cutting technology, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
- Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines, including programming and adjusting machine settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on waterjet machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CNC waterjet machines or similar equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
The typical schedule consists of eight hours per day, Monday through Friday. Since we are a custom shop, production is occasionally scheduled to work on a Saturday.
