Mid-America Gastrointestinal-Intestinal Consultants is a seven provider GI practice located next to Saint Luke's Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. We operate Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends or holidays required.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm Patients Insurance/Benefits
- Work Closely with Procedure Schedulers
- Procedure Authorizations
- Notify Patients on Out-of-Pocket Costs
- Notify Patients on Cost Day of Service
- Answers Active Phone Calls
- Enters Payment from Patients on Incoming Calls
Requirements:
- Claims Preferred 1 year background in Medical Office Experience.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills are very important.
- Must be proficient with computers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
