Key Responsibilities
- Estate Planning & Business Law: Draft comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and LLC formation documents.
- Personal Injury: Assist with personal injury claims, from client intake to settlement negotiations and litigation, as needed.
- Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a clear understanding of their legal options and processes.
- Public Speaking: Conduct presentations on estate planning, business formation, and other legal topics to various community groups and organizations.
- Marketing: Represent the firm on social media platforms and in marketing campaigns, showcasing expertise and building the firm's online presence.
- Firm Growth: Contribute to the firm’s development by identifying new opportunities, streamlining processes, and cultivating relationships with clients, businesses, and community members.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Missouri (or the ability to obtain one).
- 1-3 years of legal experience preferred, but motivated recent graduates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic and evolving practice.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, ensuring cultural competency in client interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in drafting legal documents.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the firm's growth goals.
- Experience or comfort with public speaking and making presentations.
- Interest in social media marketing and leveraging platforms to educate and connect with the community.
- Motivated by a bonus structure tied to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including client acquisition, retention, and case outcomes.
