Summary
We are seeking an Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 83 unit residential property. The work schedule requires 50 hours weekly, 9 hours daily Monday through Friday and 5 hours on Saturdays. Located in Michigan, this role is crucial for ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction while adhering to company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of apartment operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Utilize Yardi software for managing tenant records, rent collections, and maintenance requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address any concerns promptly.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain high standards of facilities management.
- Oversee administrative tasks including data entry and contract management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
