Central Scheduler:
About the Job: Schedulers are responsible for answering incoming calls, registering new
patients and scheduling or changing appointments. The successful applicant will
answer a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment and represent Mid
America Orthopedics in a professional manner.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Answers a high volume of calls daily
- Accurately registers patients into the scheduling database
- Understands physician preferences and schedules accordingly
- Reschedules patients when directed by supervisor
- Places reminder calls and communicates appointment information to patients
- Other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience working within an office setting
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook
- Entry level ability to use Microsoft Office platform
