We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to contribute to maintaining a clean, professional, and safe working environment. In this multi-faceted role, you will perform routine and non-routine maintenance work as directed, always adhering to company policy, procedures, and values.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment at all times.
• Execute and adhere to a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program.
• Collaborate effectively with operations teams on various projects.
• Understand and actively participate in the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
• Accurately measure and manage multiple ingredient bins.
• Efficiently load, unload, and transfer Milo between grain silos and trucks.
• Safely unload fat tankers.
• Provide support in packaging processes.
• Perform rebuilds and repairs on a variety of equipment.
• Inspect and monitor critical bearing systems.
• Champion a culture of safe work practices and environmental responsibility.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Undertake other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Working Environment: Safety is an imperative value at MAPF. This role requires working in various environments, including a plant setting where you may encounter noise, heat, moving mechanical parts, dust, varying temperatures (both indoor and outdoor), and chemicals. You will be required to follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role include: occasional lifting up to 60 pounds; frequent climbing of stairs and ladders; manipulating flow valves; occasional bending, twisting, and turning while lifting up to 50 pounds; prolonged periods of seated data entry (over 1 hour); significant walking (up to 2 or more miles daily); pushing tools like brooms and shovels; working at heights and in confined spaces; working in temperatures ranging from 0 to over 100°F; standing for extended durations; and the use of both hand and power tools.
