Come join our team and do what you love! Mid-America Publishing and Printing, a leader in custom printing and community news in Iowa is now hiring for admin/graphic designer at our Clear Lake office. This is a full-time admin-designer position to support production of community newspapers, newspaper special sections, newspaper advertising, and other design projects as well as create eye-catching advertising for a variety of clients.
The successful candidate will be able to use Adobe Creative Suite and with training be able to layout newspapers weekly, and create innovative and inventive designs for various forms of print media using Adobe products. Position will also involve some occasional covering of the reception area, incoming phone calls and monitoring of an email inbox.
Mid-America Publishing offers a dynamic creative environment where you will handle multiple design and writing projects simultaneously in coordination and cooperation with the sales, design and editorial staff. An aptitude for design is required, as is ability to work with public and work cooperatively and positively in a team focused environment.
