The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator oversees the receipt, handling, and delivery of supplies and equipment ordered. This role creates and maintains processes that track and account for inventory levels, ensuring availability of supplies to meet the critical needs of the organization.

 

What You'll Do

• Serves as one of the primary inventory control persons ensuring all supplies necessary for the recovery of organs/tissues are available and that par levels are properly maintained.
• Responsible for checking deliveries & comparing product delivered matches packing slip & purchase orders.
• Unpacks, barcodes, & transfers supplies to proper storage areas
• Delivery of items to proper shelves or requesting departments and clinical areas
• Barcodes supplies out of inventory system as needed for secondary storage area stocking
• In conjunction with the Manager, Supply Chain & Clinical Services, ensures par levels of inventory are maintained, including supplies & instrumentation for recovery
• Performs inventory restocking in all clinical & non-clinical areas as needed.
• Serves as first point of contact for all UPS, FEDEX, & other deliveries daily.
• Performs annual and periodic physical inventory counts to reconcile actual stock vs. Warehouse management system.
• Creates internal kits for clinical usage or shipping (prepares stock for clinical use).
• Maintains accurate compliance records to meet the FDA, AOPO, AATB, & EBAA guidelines
• Cross trained to cover duties within the sterile processing department

10 hour shifts every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

What You'll Bring 

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of inventory management experience preferred
• Prior sterile processing experience or willingness to learn preferred
