What You'll Do
At Mid American Credit Union the Marketing and Financial Literacy Specialist coordinates and implements the credit union's marketing, communications and public relations programs across a variety of internal and external communication channels.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the production of printed and electronic advertisements and ensure that materials meet production and accuracy requirements in a timely manner for both the credit union and credit union's employer partners.
- Support business development efforts of the marketing department by producing communications materials and/or participating in membership recruitment activities with the credit union's employer partners.
- Assist with the credit union's financial literacy efforts by producing content, coordinating events and other associated duties as needed.
- Participate in public and community relations activities to promote the credit union.

What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Education - High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience - Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Need to have proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Outlook software (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to multi task.
- Organizational skills
